Infatuation, 2025

As a street photography student, I focus on capturing the often-invisible moments that make up the daily rhythm of life on a 35mm film camera.  I seek to preserve the raw authenticity of these moments, embracing the imperfections and texture that film brings.  My approach to documentary photography is centred around highlighting the beauty in the mundane and transforming everyday interactions into visual stories.
Colour is an important element in my work, serving as a tool that evokes emotions and moods.  Each colour choice is carefully considered, influencing how a viewer connects with the scene and the atmosphere I aim to create.
While street photography is my primary focus, I am always exploring new mediums such as digital photography and mixed media to expand my creative process. These experiments allow me to push the boundaries of how I document and present the world around me.
For this Women's History Month project, I aim to shed light on the roles women play in public sectors. Through my photography I hope to celebrate their resilience, strength and presence, highlighting their contributions in a way that acknowledges their everyday experiences and the unique perspectives they bring to the world.
