Touch , 2025

The Touch project is an exploration of touch as a sensual experience that connects the physical with the emotional.  Marta Malicka, the subject and author of the concept, focused on examining the intimacy of touch, its texture, and the bond it creates between humans and the natural world.  Themes of the body, skin, femininity, and nature are central elements here, which aim to capture how touch shapes our experiences and our identity; the sense of touch becomes the key to understanding how the physical connection to the body and nature influences our inner experiences and self-perception. 

As a photographer, my task was to convey Marta’s vision by capturing the subtle nuances of emotions and energy that touch carries. We aimed to blur the boundaries between the material and the immaterial, between the body and spirit, between humans and nature, showing how touch connects these worlds. 

In our collaboration, Marta played the role of a guide, expressing her vision through the body, while I, as the photographer, sought to understand it and translate it into an image that could communicate the same sensory and emotional experience.
