I am a London based, Spanish photographer (b.1996).  I began photography in my late teens, but it wasn’t until I stepped into a darkroom in 2018 that I felt I became an artist. I discovered the photographic process as a tool for decoding myself and others, a place where the physicality of analogue methods and the intangibility of the psyche could meet to aid each other.

My work has recently shifted, taking a special interest in ideas of memory, perception, ancestry, and identity. The frame serves me as my own version of a journal where I reflect on ontological intricacies through self-analysis.

You Will Be As Us explores the sort of immortality that is only achieved through ancestry; a cyclic, never ending, ever changing passing down of genetic and collective memory. In this huge history of lineage, I, today, appear as the main character, the outcome of the story, but if we look, or better, imagine further into the future, when I too am gone, only then will I become a key piece to this unceasingly growing puzzle.
