Dimensions varied

My photographic roots include journalism, street, stage/performance, documentary, and landscape photography.  Over the last three years my work has moved towards visual art practice combined with philosophy, visual text, conceptualism, semiotics, and symbolism.  In the past year, with these methodologies, I returned to a renewed interest in ecology and nature.

Looking at paradigms around societal and human cultural elements, existence, and impact on natural environments… our milieu, I have begun using mixed media to cognise through phenomenological curiosity, inquiry, research, and reason.  Ultimately, I hope to understand the vastness and scope of our world through my enquiry.

I view myself as multicultural, primarily influenced by my early childhood. I was born during the 1970s to British parents during an overseas British army posting in former West Germany. I was always aware of my background and family heredity through my parents and the other families serving in the British army, attached to my father's regiment until 1985, when my family made a permanent move to an ex-military lifestyle in London England.
