Overall Winner and Best in Your Things Category

We have really enjoyed seeing the diversity and quality of the entries in this year’s competition. We would like to thank every student from around the country who took time to submit work and to congratulate the finalists whose work is printed in this magazine as well as those whose work has been highly commended and is shown on our London Met BA Photography Website: www.ldnmetarts.photography

We would also like to thank the tutors and lecturers who kindly shared the information about the competition and encouraged students to take part. And, of course, we would like to say a big thank you to the students, alumni and staff for their careful consideration in judging the competition.

Congratulations to Zara Shahid form NCC Havering Sixth Form College for her fantastic portrait that wins the Your People category, and to Saul Christiaens from Rochester Independent College who has won not only the Your Places category but is also the overall winner with his entry for the Your Things category. Really well done to Saul on this remarkable achievement.
