  Emotions in colours , 2025

Colors play a significant role in shaping our emotional experiences and responses. For women, colours can be a powerful tool for expressing the intricate layers of their emotions and inner worlds.  They can calm, energize, inspire, or even provoke. This emotional resonance allows women to use colours as a form of self-expression, conveying their moods, thoughts, and feelings without words. The relationship between colours and emotions is deeply personal, as each woman might experience and interpret colours differently based on her individual experiences and cultural background.
Colours have the ability to articulate what words often cannot. Unlike structured language, colours have an organic fluidity that allows emotions to flow freely, unfiltered by rational constraints.  A shade that may feel liberating to one woman can evoke nostalgia or longing in another.  This subjectivity is what makes the relationship between colour and emotion so profound, each choice becomes a self-portrait, an externalization of the inner world.
