This is the story of my mother. She has spent the last 20 years caring for my father during his terminal illness. She never made time for herself and never considered her own needs. Her life consisted of sleepless nights, hospital visits, and his operations. Despite this, she kept our family together, she became our foundation, she never gave up, and always had a smile on her face.
She demonstrated the importance of family and tradition for many years. The family was what kept her going during my father’s cancer and Parkinson's disease.
She is a true fighter, a woman with a big heart and soul; she is my inspiration and role model. I am thankful for her unconditional love. I can’t imagine my life without her.
