Anima, 2021

I am a London-based photographer and installation artist. My latest project Anima is a series of make-believe characters projected onto bodies (and one barge). The series blossomed after attempting to recreate Edward Robert Hughes’ painting “Midsummer Eve”. These 14 abstracted images are ever-changing in relation to their surroundings and evoke the wonder I experienced as a child when I still believed in fairies.
